Up and coming Nigerian singer Manny Monie has stirs mixed reactions online as he performed cover of Afrobeat musician Adekunle Gold’s hit song, ‘Party no dey stop‘.
Party no dey stop, a music collaboration between Adekunle Gold and Marlian signee Zinoleesky has been one of the viral songs on internet and social media users has been jamming to it.
The song topped the Apple music charts days after its released. It spent a while as the No.1 until it was overtaken by Davido’s songs.
Adekunle Gold shared a video on his official Instagram page and it showed singer Portable ex-signee performing the cover of his song.
His rap cover sparked reactions online as many were displeased with his act of singing. They advised him to stop singing.
Recall that Portable was recently released from prison after he was charged with over six offences, in which one of them was beating Manny Monie.
The video brought back memories as commenters trooped to share their thoughts.
