“So well-deserved, more is coming” — Tems congratulate Ayra Starr and Tyla over Grammy nominations

Nigerian musician, Temilade Openiyi, popularly known as Tems has taken to her Twitter page to publicly congratulate Ayra Starr and Tyla over their Grammy nominations.

The duo were nominated alongside Nigerian artists like Burna Boy, Davido, Olamide and Asake.

Although it looks like the competition will be a very tough one, Tems feels proud over both women who were nominated in the category.

According to her, Ayra Starr and Tyla work very hard and they believed, which makes her really happy.

In her words; “Seeing these girlies win is actually everything because they work so hard and they believed! I’m so happy and proud rn, a huge congratulations. So well deserved. More is coming!! @ayrastarr @Tyllaaaaaaa”.

Recall, Nigerian Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, also known as Davido took social media to celebrate as he finally got nominated for a Grammy Award.

The ‘FIA’ crooner bagged a total of three nominations in the 66th Grammys, second to self acclaimed African Giant, Burna Boy with four nominations.

Davido’s fourth studio album, ‘Timeless’ was nominated in the Best Global Music Album category. While ‘Unavailable’ was nominated in the Best African Music Performance.

The singer’s melodious tune, ‘Feel’ got the final nomination under the Best Global Music Performance category.
