Olamide Sign New Artist To YBNL. Legendary Nigerian rapper and YBNL boss, Olamide has unveil another new artist, Asake to his YBNL record label days after welcoming fast rising rapper, Jayboi.

He posted a video of Asake previewing a song in the studio and captioned it with; “Mood…… @asakemusic welcome to #YBNL”.

The talented music act, Asake is a fast-rising artist from the Southwestern region of Nigeria. Grace found him in 2020, when one of his freestyles, Lady went viral, earning reposts from top celebrities across several online-based platforms.

Immediately the freestyle went viral, it was recorded with the production credited to Blaque Beats. Then later in 2020, he released “Mr Money” another viral hit that topped charts and airwaves and was a popular Tik-Tok tune.

Olamide Sign New Artist Asake

He recently released a single featuring Olamide, titled ‘Omo Ope‘. The song soon to be released music video and forthcoming EP will be Asake’s debut under YBNL.

The announcement is coming a day after he unveiled his first signee of the year, Jayboi. Jayboi’s signing marked the first time in five years that Baddo will be welcoming another singer into the YBNL Family after signing Fireboy DML and a few other rappers in 2018.

However, Olamide forthcoming retirement could be the reason he signed Jay Boi last week and Asake this new week (Today, 08-02-2022).
