Mohbad: We’re waiting to hear from Bella Shmurda – Police PRO

Olumuyiwa Adejobi, PRO of the Nigeria Police Force, says they are waiting on Bella Shmurda to give them information about Mohbad’s de@th.

According to the PRO of police, the information that will be given to them by singer Bella Shmurda, a close friend of late rapper Mohbad, will aid their inquiry.

GbExtra Blog had reported that fast rising rapper Mohbad d!ed in a controversial manner on Tuesday. On Thursday, authorities announced that they had opened an investigation into the singer’s de@th.

The police department has also asked for anyone with valuable information, particularly friends and family members of the late musician, to come forward.

Kemi Olunloyo, a controversial self-styled investigative journalist, gave Bella Shmurda a 48-hour ultimatum on Saturday to go to the police and speak up.

“Bella Shmurda,” she wrote on her X account. I’m giving you 48 hours to report to @PoliceNG and speak with @Princemoye1 or to force CID Ikoyi.”

Adejobi, a police spokesperson, quoted her message with the comment, “I am expecting to hear from him.”

During an interview, Bella Shmurda revealed that Mohbad had made a desperate su!c!de attempt following his discord with the record label owned by Naira Marley, known as Marlian Music.

Bella further shared that the late rapper had been subjected to menacing thre@ts.

Four days after news broke about Mohbad’s death, Naira Marley and his record label reacted to the news as they released an official statement addressing ex signee’s tragic demise.

In the official statement released on Naira’s page, he touched on some things, noting that he has no hand in the de@th of the deceased.
