Award-Winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid is in the news again following an old video of him that resurfaced online.
The old video of Wizkid that is about 13 years ago captured the singing dishing out break dancing moves and has been trending online.
This is coming days after Wizkid becomes one of the most talked about conversations over the weekend as he disclosed that he is not an Afrobeats artiste and fans of his old music during the days of Pakurumo and other tracks should not make any attempt in downloading his forthcoming album dubbed “Morayo.”
However, the throwback video making the waves online recalled the moment when Wizkid was fully into Afrobeat.
In the old video, Wizkid, the “Essence” crooner was seen on the stage performing his 2011 breakout song known as “Holla at your boy.”
As of that time, Wizkid is known but yet to be an established artiste in the competitive Nigeria music industry.
Wizkid who is full of Afrobeats at that time was spotted on stage with some guys and they were seen engaging in a popular dance called “Breaking.”
Wizkid who is central of attraction thrilled fans with his moves while performing with his guys on stage.
The break-dancing displayed by Wizkid and his guys stirred reactions online as many compared the “Ojuelegba” hitmaker to the late American singer, Micheal Jackson justifying that the latter might not be able to do it like Wizkid.
