Popular Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has triggered mixed reactions online following a video showing the moment he links up with Grammy Award winner Wizkid.
The viral video showing the meeting of Wizkid and Kizz Daniel did not go down well with many as many drags the “Twe Twe” hitmaker over the way he greeted Wizkid.
Fans noticed a brief and seemingly casual exchange of a shoulder-to-shoulder dab between the two musicians in the footage.
The informality of their greeting sparked backlash from many fans, particularly condemning Kizz Daniel’s demeanor.
However, some found nothing wrong with the way Kizz Daniel greeted the Grammy-winning singer, suggesting that Wizkid should not be idolized as if he were a deity.
An X user identified as @honest30bgfan_ while sharing the video wrote; “This kizz Daniel too useless, Wizkid suppose slap am e too get pride, person way no even get one hit song.”
