Lagos police arrest Sam Larry over Mohbad’s de@th hours after he returns to Nigeria (Video)

The Lagos State Police Command has arrested controversial Lagos socialite, Balogun Eletu, aka Sam Larry, over the de@th of the singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba, aka Mohbad.

The news was shared on the X app by the Nigerian police PRO, SP Benjamin Hundeyin. He confirmed on Thursday, September 28 that the music promoter was arrested and is presently assisting with the investigation on Mohbad’s death.

It has come to light that Sam Larry has been arrested was taken into Police custody upon his return to Nigeria from Kenya around 10 pm on Thursday and was subsequently transferred to the main police station in Lagos.

Recall that the police had earlier invited Sam Larry and singer, Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley, for questioning over Mohbad’s demise.

However, SP Benjamin announced that Sam Larry is in their custody. He wrote, “Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation.”

In similar news, Actress and activist Iyabo Ojo has made more findings, which have changed the course of the investigation into the terrible death of Mohbad.

She recently revealed that Sam Larry and Naira Marley have both been invited to testify by the Nigerian police, giving them the opportunity to clear their identities if they are innocent.

Iyabo Ojo did, however, added a truth that the Nigerian police had told her, that Naira Marley and Sam Larry will be listed as wanted if they don’t follow the police instructions and show up on time.
