I inspired Olamide and others in street music – Rapper CDQ brags after he was called out for h@ting on Asake

Popular Nigerian rapper, CDQ in a recent post on social media has reacted after he was called out for h@ting on YBNL signee, Asake.

In the post shared via the insta-stories section of his verified Instagram page, rapper CDQ while claiming that he is not jealous or hating on Asake, refers to himself as a hero when it comes to street music.

According to the “Nowo E Soke” crooner he inspire all artistes that are into street music including Olamide, Naira Marley, Reminisce and others.

It all started after Asake few days ago releases snippet of his upcoming song via his verified Insatgram page.

However, the upcoming song spark mixed reactions, while some applauded him others throws jab at the singer for using the same sound.

Speaking on his own part, CDQ also criticized Asake for using the same sound as he noted that the song sounds like former hit track dubbed, Palazzo and his response was met with different reactions as many throw shade at him and further accused of hating on Asake successful career so far and later referred to rapper CDQ as an upcoming artiste.

Following the shades poured on him following his comment on Asake, rapper CDQ utters that he has inspired lot of artistes doing street music and further noted that he is not part of those doing hypocrite and eye service in the music industry that is full of beefers.

CDQ wrote, “FYI, CDQ inspired allllll ur favorite artists on this street thing… so thinking I’m hating on one person is d dumbest thing to ever think of. I only dropped a comment like anyone else would. Count me out of an industry full of hypocrites and eye service… ibiLé Mugabe for a reason.”
