Nollywood actress cum politician Funke Akindele has deleted everything politics-related on her page following her defeat.
Funke Akindele and her party, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) lost the gubernatorial elections this weekend.
Funke Akindele lost at her polling unit to incumbent Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC). According to the results, PDP had 19, APC scored 77 while Labour Party polled 3 votes.
A few hours after the loss, Funke Akindele trooped to her Instagram page to delete anything related to politics from her page. The PDP was defeated by the incumbent governor and All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Babajide Sanwo-Olu.
