Grammy Award Winner Temilade Openiyi professionally known as Tems in a recent statement sheds light on her pregnancy rumour with American rapper Future.
Recall that in September 2023, Tems, the “U & Me” hitmaker became one of the trending conversations online following her alleged protruded belly at the Burberry Fashion show in London
Another report further disclosed that Tems alleged pregnancy belongs to Future. This allegation was easily linked to rapper Future after Tems wins her first Grammy Award off the rapper’s song dubbed “Wait for you” which also features Drake.
However, Tems debunked the pregnancy rumour as she averred that she indulged in a heavy meal that day, possibly explaining the unexpected expansion of her belly.
Expressing herself further in a latest interview with the Beat 99.9FM following her arrival in Lagos, Tems maintained her stand as she uttered that she didn’t know that the pregnancy rumour was real until she started receiving death threat.
Tems further added that she has never met Future before in her life noting that of all the people in the world, why should she get pregnant for rapper Future.
Tems said; “Of all the people in the world, Future? I’ve never even met him in my life.”
