How to Apply: Big Brother Naija is Back with a New Twist for the Season 9 Auditions

Multichoice, organisers of the African Biggest reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, BBNaija show, has announced auditions for season 9.

BBNaija, in a statement on its official X page, announced that the application for audition, which is slated to commence on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 8:00 pm, comes with a new format.

In a new twist, the organisers said contestants of the upcoming ninth season will audition in pairs.

According to the organisers, auditioning pairs can be close friends, family members, romantic partners, or any combination that embodies a “dynamic duo”.

The post reads: “Exciting News! Biggie is back for #BBNaija Season 9 auditions with a twist! The audition requires 2 people.

”This year, its a search for Dynamic Duos that love the show and can turn up the heat in Biggie’s house!

”Can you make a Dynamic Duo? Simply swipe and follow the instructions!

”Auditions open, 27th March at 8pm!’

”Contestants are encouraged to submit a three-minute video showcasing their personalities, strengths as a duo, and why they should be in the house for BBNaija Season 9.”

How To Audition For Big Brother Naija 2024, Season 9

1. Make and upload a 3-minute video telling Big Brother why “both of you” should be in Big Brother’s House together.

2. You have to audition together describing yourselves and where you’re from, talk about your personalities, your favourite things, likes, dislikes, unique things about both of you, and how it may help you do well on BBNaija S9.

4. Stay natural, don’t force it, keep it fun!

5. Audition is free and will open on Wednesday, March 27, 2024, at 8:00 pm. It is open to persons who are 21 years old and above with a valid means of identification.

6. Auditions are to be submitted to africamagic.tv/bigbrother.

This development follows reports of the BBNaija All-stars reunion being canceled, purportedly due to the alleged refusal of the majority of the housemates to participate.

Ilebaye Odinaya was crowned the winner of the last edition of the reality TV show. She walked home with the grand prize of N120 million.
