A footage that has been alleged to be the major reason why popular Nollywood actor Kunle Remi was snubbed by the AMVCA has surfaced online and has gets many people talking online.
Recall that actor Kunle Remi who is well known for his lead role with the acclaimed name “Saro” in the hit movie, Anikulapo was not nominated for the 2023 AMVCA, even though his colleague, Bimbo Ademoye known as “Arolake” was nominated.
The ninth edition of the AMVCA was held on Saturday night, May 20th 2023, and the movie Anikulapo won 5 categories out of the 16 it was nominated for.
After being blacklisted by the organizers of the AMVCA9 despite his beautiful performance in the Kunle Afolayan movie.
However, a video of Kunle Remi interview with OAP Nedua Wazobia and other hosts on the Honest Buch podcast shows the moment the actor revealed how a popular public figure tried to lure him into homo$+xuality while he was trying to break into the industry.
According to Kunle Remi, he was at the University of Ibadan when a colleague introduced him to a celebrity while he was trying to be among the contestant of Gulder Ultimate Search.
Kunle Remi in his words said the senior colleague told him that he was not nominated because he has refused to pay his bills and further lured him into practicing g*y as the only way out.
He said; “He came downstairs with a candle and jar of oil and tells me I should because he says I’m a virgin, I should put the candle, in the oil as a lubricant and make it go through then after he would come and check it and from there he would now connect me and tells me my first month I will be trying a Benz.”
