Popular Nigerian singer Olamide has stirs mixed reactions online following the way he chooses to mourn his late colleague Dagrin.
Recall that Rapper Dagrin born Olayitan Olanipekun Oladapo died on April 22nd 2010 died from complications arising from injuries he sustained in a ghastly motor accident when he ran into a stationary truck around 3am at Mushin in Lagos..
Dagrin who is well known for his rapping prowess died at at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH.
However, April 2024 makes it 14 years since rapper Dagrin, the “Pon Pon Pon” hitmaker was lost to the cold hands of death.
A new clip making the waves online shows YBNL boss, Olamide vibing to a Dagrin song dubbed “Nla” as he mourns the late singer on his 14th death anniversary.
Even Olamide is clearly aware of some people believe that he would not have blown this much if not because of Dagrin’s death, the YBNL boss decided to mourn him in a best way.
In the video, Olamide was seen vibing so hard and dishing out the rap in the late Dagrin song word for word as if it were a new song. Some also claimed that Olamide and the late Dagrin look alike.
