Popular Nollywood actor turned politician, Desmond Elliot is undoubtedly one of the happiest man in the world as he was seen celebrating his re-election victory in Lagos.
Recall that the Governorship and State House of Assembly elections were held yesterday, March 18th, 2023 and 49-year-old Desmond Elliot who has been in the Lagos State House since April 2015 under the party APC, seeks for 3rd time in office.
However, Desmond constituency known as Surulere 1 held a victory night for him where they were seen chanting victory songs for him.
This is coming after the politician paid an appreciation visit to the speaker of the House of Representatives.
Sharing a video of his courtesy visit, Desmond Elliot appreciated him for being his father, mentor, leader and speaker of the nation.
Desmond Ellitot wrote, “Many many many thanks to my Father , mentor , leader and speaker of the nation @speakergbaja Rep Femi Gbajabiamila Thank you boss . Most grateful @olanrewaju_smart thank you dear brother.”

Desmond Elliot won his re-election by a landslide, he had 17,837 votes, actor Olumide Oworu’s name was not even on the sheet as INEC disclosed that he is not even a candidate.
