Veteran Nollywood actor Kanayo O. Kanayo in a recent video shared online blasts activist VeryDarkBlackMan for calling out top actors in Nollywood as regards the Mr Ibu health issue.
Recall, Yesterday October 18th 2023, Popular Veteran Nollywood actor, Mr Ibu whose real name is John Okafor in a trending video seeks financial assistance.
Mr Ibu who celebrates his birthday at the hospital cries out on his sick bed as he said that he didn’t want his leg to be amputated.
Reacting to this, VeryDarkBlackMan uttered that the video of Mr Ibu begging for help to survive at the hospital bed is a very embarrassing one.
He blasted top actor in Nollywood as being shameless for not contacting Mr Ibu who is sick in the hospital.
VeryDarkBlackMan added that the Nollywood industry which has existed for a long period of time supposed to have a structure in place for its veterans or legends.
He noted that this structure will help in assisting actor in their old age when they are no longer working.
Reacting to this VeryBlackMan trending video, Kanayo O. Kanayo via his official Instagram page today, October 19th 2023, debunks the activist saying that top actors in the movie industry is quiet about Mr Ibu health issue.
Kanayo added that unlike the information dished out by VeryBlackDarkMan, the actors in the industry are already giving out to Mr Ibu while adding that some maintains the personality of not coming out to disclose what they have contributed.
He further accused VeryDarkBlackMan of chasing clout with celebrities name as he is using Mr Ibu deteriorated health to get tractions online.
He further tackles actor Uche Maduagwu and Reno Omokri for calling out veteran Nollywood actor and Peter Obi respectively on the Mr Ibu’s present issue.
He gave an example of Nollywood actor William Uchemba who builds houses for the needy without making noise with it.
Captioning the the video, he wrote; “Gaining traction with someone’s misfortune, handicap, ill luck is wicked. Give, if you have to, without calling for the attention of the social media. One ‘ very dark man’ calling top actors, shameless is unruly and attention seeking. @realmribu please get well soon.”
