Wizkid’s Essence deserves to win 'Song Of The Year' at The Grammys

American rapper, Joe Budden has said that Nigerian superstar singer, Wizkid deserves to win a Grammy Award with his 2020 hit song, Essence.

He stated this during the latest episode of his podcast which featured Trinidadian-American rap star Nicki Minaj.

According to Budden, officials on the Grammy Board need to recognise Essence as the Song Of The Year at the 2022 Grammys.

Wizkid’s Essence deserves to win “Song Of The Year” at The Grammys – Rappers Joe Budden, Nicki Minaj

The clip shows, Nicki Minaj agreeing to the opinion and she further suggested that Africans and African Americans should have their own Grammy Board.
