Another viral video of mutilated old naira notes worth about N5billion naira has surfaced online and has stirs reactions among Nigerians and angry due to hardship they are presently going through as a result of the redesigned naira notes.
In the video making the rounds online, the decayed old naira notes worth as much as N5billion was made up of bundles of N1000 notes fully back inside the Ghana must go bag.
Recall that the CBN governor, Emefiele redesigned the new naira notes to address the issue of individuals who have made currency fraud their main source of income, most especially people who have hidden money they have stolen.
The currency change also aims to deal a fatal blow to the growing kidnapping and ransom industry.
In the trending video, the guys who found the N5billion mutilated naira notes were shocked as they noted that this is the wickedness of the highest order from those in powers for keeping such amount of the money to the level that it gets decayed without doing anything to the development of the country knowing meaningfully well that most citizens are leaving abject poverty.
