“We have learned our lessons” – Eniola Ajao begs EFCC to release Bobrisky

Popular Nollywood actress and movie producer, Eniola Ajao, has addressed the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in Lagos over the arrest of crossdresser, Bobrisky.

On Wednesday night after the news of Bobrisky’s arrest went viral online. The socialite was detained at the Lagos Command of the EFCC over abuse of naira, spraying of naira notes and currency mutilation.

Recall that Bobrisky has been embroiled in several controversies over the past weeks after he received the best dressed female award at Eniola Ajao’s first cinematic movie, ‘Beast of two worlds’ (Ajakaju).

Eniola Ajao, known for her grossing movie ‘Ajakaju’, expressed her sadness upon hearing the news on Bobrisky’s arrest, noted that the self-made ‘Mummy of Lagos’ was not supposed to be going through such an ordeal after the call-out as a result of the title he was given at her premiere.

The beautiful mother of one, however, pleaded EFCC to release Bobrisky as she revealed that he have learnt his lessons.

She wrote, “Woke up very sad My thoughts and prayers are with Bobrisky this morning. He has been very supportive. He should not be going through any issue as a result of the movie.

Maybe I should not title the sequel of #ajakajuthemovie, @ajakajumovie Ajakaju. The gbas-gbos since the premiere and the cinema runs started are on another level; it is another Nollywood story on its own.”

“I pray Bobrisky (Mummy of Lagos) gets home safely. Please EFCC, help us. We have learned our lessons; we will do better and stop spraying money. We will only do transfers Please show me love by going to cinemas across Nigeria; #ajakajuthemovie (Beast of Two Worlds) is still showing.”

Meanwhile, the court has reserved judgement on Bobrisky till Tuesday, April 9.
