A new video is making the rounds on social media that shows the moment popular Nigerian activist VeryDarkMan loses his eyesight during the #EndBadGovernance Protest in Abuja.
Today, August 2nd 2024 is the day 2nd day of the ongoing planned nationwide protests as Nigerians have taken to the streets in their various states to protest against hardship and hunger.
However, today, VeryDarkMan joined the #EndBadGovernance protesters in Abuja in an absolutely peaceful protest, but the police ended up sporadically firing tear gas at the protesters.
During the protest, tear gas was also fired at VeryDarkMan, and he ended up getting injured in one of his eyes. He shared the video of him lamenting while showing his swollen eyes.
According to him, the minister of FCT, Wike who used to be the governor of River State was the one who ordered security officials to fire tear gas at #EndBadGovernanceProtesters in Abuja.
