Popular Nollywood actor Yul Edochie in a recent post on social media slams Nigerians for hating on rapper Oladips after faking his death.
On November 15th 2023, the management of Oladips via Instagram page said the 28-year-old singer passed away on November 14th, 2023 at exactly 10:14 PM.
Following his acclaimed death, Oladips became one of the trending conversations online with his photos and videos trooping online as fans and celebrities mourned him.
However, the death rumour was debunked by singer Qdot who said Oladips is still alive. Rapper Oladips via his Instagram page today, November 23rd 2023 confirms that he fakes his death.
He came out with a bald head showing that his dreads have been cut off as he vibes to his song “Ori” off his newly released album.
Following this, Oladips receives heavy dragging online as many blast him for faking his death while adding that he still refuses to blow despite doing PR for his new album with the death.
Reacting to the dragging on Oladips, Yul Edochie slams Nigerians for always being to happy to celebrate the death.
He added that Nigerians should put the same energy to stream the singer song now that that he is still alive.
Yul Edochie wrote; “What’s up with the guy who faked his death? Una no wan trend am? Nobody is posting him? Nobody is posting his music cos he’s still alive. If he was truly dead by now, una no go let people rest.
Everybody will be posting his picture & his music. To support dead people dey sweet una pass the ones wey dey alive. Support him now that he’s alive, jealousy and envy no go let una.”
