Nigerian music sensation, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, is generously giving back to the street by planning to give away N100 million to children for Christmas.
The announcement was made public today, December 11th, 2023, via Wizkid’s verified Instagram page.
This act of generosity follows recent reports of Wizkid gifting N20 million to Hypeman GOE and reportedly presenting N30 million to his close associate during their birthday celebrations.
Through an Instagram post, Wizkid disclosed his intention to distribute N100 million to children in Surulere as a special Christmas gift.
He mentioned that this benevolent act is a tribute to his late mother, Mrs. Juliana Morayo Balogun, who passed away on August 18th, 2023, in London.
Wizkd wrote; “100M for kids for Christmas! Lord Bless us all start in surulere tonight.”
He added; “All in Morayo’s name! The love of my life!”
