Nigerian Afrobeat singer, David Adeleke known as Davido, has once again made headlines amidst custody battle between him and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
Sophia Momodu has recently responded to Davido’s lawsuit stating his inability to have access to their 9-year-old daughter, Imade Adeleke.
According to Sophia, Davido abandoned Imade for the past two years. She states that the artist has not seen their daughter since July 2022, despite her never denying him access.
Sophia revealed that she “solely shouldered” for Imade’s responsibility since the last two years while Davido posts Imade’s pictures on social media to “falsely portray himself as a supportive and active father.”
Her post causing buzz online triggered massive reactions as social media users shared their thoughts.
However, Davido seemed unconcerned about Sophia’s allegations as he took to his Instagram story to share a post of himself, declaring self as 001.
