Return my bride price in the proper way, only a court can dissolve our marriage — Isreal DMW tells his estranged wife

Davido’s aide Isreal DMW has taken to social media to respond after his estranged wife Sheila Courage in a post claimed that she had returned his bride price.

Yesterday, March 5th 2024, Isreal DMW via his verified Instagram page began a fresh round of curses on her estranged wife stating that he would get justice for all the attendees of his wedding ceremony.

Isreal DMW utters that her mother caused the end of their marriage because she tried to control him the way she controls Sheila’s father and he declined.

He continues by raining curses on Sheila’s businesses while adding that any man who touches her will slump and die.

Responding to this, Sheila in a post confirms to all and sundry that she has returned the bride price back to her estranged husband Isreal DMW.

Posting on his Instagram story, he appealed to her to return her bride price in a respectful manner. He emphasized her inability to transfer it directly to him through an alert.

Isreal clarified that it wasn’t he who made the payment directly, but rather his family, and it was done in person.

Isreal also pointed out that their marriage was conducted according to customary rites, implying that only the Federal High Court holds the legal authority to dissolve their marriage, and this can only occur after a two-year period.

He wrote; “Kindly return my bride price in a proper way. You can’t transfer it directly to me through an alert. I was never the one who paid it directly. My family did, and it was directly by hand. We married under the acts, and it only a Federal High Court, who has the statutory powers to get it dissolved after 2 years.”
