Popular Nigerian music video director, TG Omori has finally replied controversial Nigerian singer Portable Omolalomi after being called multiple times for charging him $50k (2.6M) for a music video shoot.
Recall that couple of days ago, Portable reaches out to the most sought after music video director, TG Omori and tells him that he wants him to shoot the video of Apostle, a track on his debut album.
Responding during the conversation, TG omori charges Portable the sum of $50k (22.6M) for the video shoot.
This got Portable angered as he noted that it’s too much and further asks the music director if he has been shooting for ritualists. He further throws shade at TG Omori as he asserts that the Zazoo Zeh video he shot for him wasn’t clear enough.
Recently, Portable called out TG Omori for switching sides so fast. He claimed TG Omori has ‘seen Asake finish’ and it is why he started to work with Seyi Vibez who he claims is copying Asake.
Reacting to all the calling out by Portable in a savage way, TG Omori in a tweet said he understood why Portable was calling him out as the singer knows he might never get a video better than Zazoo Zeh.
The director further added that the social media noise was disturbing him from editing his videos.
TG Omori further caused social media abuzz as he tells Portable to bring his song as he’s ready for shoot.
TG Omori tweeted: “Just like everybody I love portable and I’m not mad at him, if I was him I’ll feel the same way knowing i might never have a video better than zazoo. E reach to call the director out 7times everyday. I know it’s entertaining and all but let’s just stop the trend already. the noise is disturbing my edits. Peace and salam.”
“Ok ok portable send the song let’s shoot.”
