Wizkid, the “Essence” crooner is the number one on the trending table of the popular microblogging platform X formerly called Twitter.
Wizkid kickstarted Monday, April 29th 2024 with an early money violence by throwing a heavy jab at Davido and that was just the beginning.
The Grammy Award winner however breaks the table online as he shades Don Jazzy after his signee, Ladipoe mocks him.
Mavin Records signee, Ladipoe attacks Wizkid over his 2022 controversial statement “Hip Hop is dead.
A fan called Wizkid’s attention to the tweet and the singer responded by saying that he can’t have a chat with an artiste who is signed under an influencer (Don Jazzy).
Wizkid wrote; “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”
This statement by Wizkid did not go down well with social media users as they tackled the singer for disrespecting Don Jazzy who has been in the industry for 20 years before Wizkid breaks into prominence as an artiste.
However, cybernauts have dug out old clips of Wizkid in the year 2011 celebrating Don Jazzy’s birthday.
In the post, Wizkid refers to Don Jazzy as his boss and someone he looked up to.
Wizkid wrote; “Happy birthday to a boss nd some1 I look up to @DONJAZZY!!!…bless u sir!”.
