A viral video of Popular Nigerian singer Asake narrating his humble beginnings has surfaced and has stirs mixed reactions online
In the video that could be described as prophetic one, Asake, the “Amapiano” hitmaker who is signed under Olamide shared his grass-to-grace story.
Asake who is already a highly established name in the Nigeria music industry reveals some of the things he has done before he breaks he shot into the limelight.
According to Asake in the interview, he does so many things without him knowing why he is doing it adding that he is a focused person.
Singer Asake said that he started as a dancer and he proceeds by teaching people how to dance. From dancing he started learning how to play the keyboard and noted that he didn’t know it despite learning it for a year.
From Keyboard, Asake begins to stay with music producers, from staying with producers to learning to do backups for people then from there he started doing his own songs.
From making his own songs, then he started giving them to his friends stating that he just don’t know how he does all those things even till the time he will sell the 02 Arena.
The video has however turned into a success story for singer Asake who is going to shutdown the 20,000-capacity 02 Arena on August 20, 2023 in London.
Asake is the breakout artiste of the year 2022 and has released two beautiful albums within the space of one year. He bagged 8 nominations following the release of the 2023 Headies nominees list.
