Life has been mean!ngless to me since I lost my mum – Wizkid says as he releases tracklist of his new EP

Award-winning Nigerian singer Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun professionally known as Wizkid disclosed that life has been meaningless to him since he lost his mum.

Wizkid made this known today, December 20th, 2023 via the insta-stories section of his verified Instagram page as he released tracklist of his new EP “Soundman Vol.2”.

Yesterday, Wizkid who shared a photo of him receiving drips as he detoxifies himself at a hospital announced that he is going to release his EP “Soundman Vol.2” which consists of four tracks on Friday, December 22nd 2023.

However, Wizkid who has remained in Lagos following the burial party of his mother in October said that the death of his mum made him know more about the reality of life.

He said that life has been meaningless to him since his mother died and added that he made one of the songs on his EP dubbed “IdK” featuring Zlatan Ibile days after he lost his mother.

Wizkid wrote; “Make idk days after I lost my mum. Life’s been meaningless! but we dey!”.
