Police reacts to Tiwa Savage’s petition against Davido

The Lagos State Police Command has officially acknowledged receiving Nigerian singer Tiwa Savage’s petition concerning alleged bullying and threats to her life by her colleague, Davido, also known as David Adeleke.

In the circulated petition, the ‘Somebody’s son’ crooner accused Davido of using disrespectful language in response to a post featuring herself and the singer’s baby mama, Sophia Momodu.

The singer detailed her disappointment with Davido’s threats, reminding him of her unwavering support during his family’s challenging times, notably when he lost his son, Ifeanyi.

Despite this, she asserted receiving calls from mutual connections, inquiring about her actions that might have upset Davido and probing into her friendship with Sophia.

Responding to an inquiry by PUNCH, The Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed on Tuesday that an investigation has been initiated into the allegations.
