In a recent interview, Talented Nigerian rapper Oladipupo Olabode Oladimeji well known as Oladips narrates his ordeal while under his former boss, Reminisce record label, LRR records.
Oladips who makes headlines for faking his death which he later denied and further apologized on behalf of his management featured on the recent episode of audio-visual Honest Bunch podcast hosted by OAP Nedu and fellow podcasters.
Speaking on why he left Reminisce record label, Oladips speaks on how he was so broke despite having a hit song dubbed, Lalakukulala. The song was released in 2017.
Oladips who left the record label in 2019 said despite having nostalgic bop like Lalakukulala, he used to have no foodstuff in his house.
Recall that in 2019, Oladips said he left the record label with N23,000 in his account and further alleged that Reminisce made him sign a fraudulent deal.
In his 2019 diss track “Maybe“, Oladips expressed his regret for signing to Reminisce’s label and how to reminisce allegedly said he was not making money for the label.
He claimed that his then boss made life hell for him in the label. Oladips said the label took advantage of him, they cut him off from making money and his other business.

In 2021, Reminisce speaks on why he terminated Oladips contract. In his words; “Ola Dips wrote me that he wanted to leave, and I think my lawyer was with me at that time I was informed.
Immediately, I mean on the spot, I granted his request. I will say that was the easiest label issue being resolved in the country so far, I don’t like to make noise about it and I just wanted to avoid all the drama.
“But that’s the truth. He came to me and requested to leave. Then, I granted his request by terminating our contract with him. On the spot, it wasn’t even up to two minutes… As for me, I’m cool with him, I don’t have any problem with him. As you can clearly see, I am a barrack, soldier goes, soldier come…”
