Grammy Award-Winner Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu known as Burna Boy has stirs mixed reactions following his recent statement about the famous “Big 3” while performing on stage.
In the Nigerian music industry, the “Big 3” are well known to be Wizkid, Davido, and Burnaboy due to their successes on the global stage as Afrobeats artistes.
Reacting to the trending Big 3 among music fans in Nigeria, Burna Boy in a recent performance berated the common saying as he asserts that he is not among the so called Big 3.
He added that there are only big 2, including Wizkid and Davido and he is not part of them.
Bragging further, Burna Boy said after this big 2, there is Burna – meaning that he is on a whole different level, different from Wizkid and Davido and Music lovers should not drag him into unnecessary competition with the big 2.
Burna Boy said; “Next time anybody tells you about anything called the ‘big 3’, tell them there’s only the ‘big 2’ and then, there’s Burna Boy.”
