In an interview on Phyna’s podcast, Spill with Phyna, BBNaija star Pere Egbi stirred controversy when he claimed not to know the self-proclaimed controversial activist, VeryDarkMan.
The assertion came as a surprise to many, especially considering the online interactions between the two figures. Pere, when questioned about his car ownership, responded that he did not currently own a car.
However, the attention quickly shifted to his statement about VeryDarkMan, who had earlier boasted about being more attractive than the reality star.
In response to Pere’s apparent dismissal, VeryDarkBlackMan took to social media to set the record straight.
He revealed that Pere had followed him in December 2023 and even sent him a message applauding his efforts in fighting against the production of products without NAFDAC registration numbers.
To substantiate his claims, VeryDarkMan went a step further and leaked a portion of the private conversation with Pere, showcasing the reality star’s acknowledgment and commendation of his activism.
The leaked messages have since gone viral, intensifying the public scrutiny surrounding Pere’s statement during the podcast.

This comes after Verydarkman took to his Instagram page to brag about his looks, challenging netizens to mention any male celebrity who’s more handsome than him.
People subsequently mentioned Pere Egbi, Bolanle Ninalowo, and actor, Joseph Momodu made a video to directly respond to Verydarkman.
