In a recent statement, popular Nigerian singer Adedamola Oyinlola Adefolahan known as Fireboy DML disclosed why he can never make an album like his debut album, Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps (LGT).
Fireboy DML made this known during an interview with Beat 99.9 FM as he disclosed the influence of money on him since he breaks into prominence and how it turned him to a change person which he sees as growth.
Recall that Fireboy DML who is signed under Olamide YBNL records becomes an established artiste in the Nigeria music industry following the release of his debut album, LTG in the year 2019.
Reflecting on his journey so far since he released his first album, Fireboy DML utters that there are a lot of things he said he would never do but he ends up doing it when he becomes a millionaire.
In his words; “Artistes are human beings like you, you might think you’re one person, then N50M will enter your account and you will realize you are another person.There are a lot of things I said i will never do or be until I became a millionaire.”
He added that apart from making money which is a factor that changes him a lot, Fireboy DML averred that he sees the development over the years as growth in his life as he notes that he is now famous compared to when he wrote his first album, LGT.
The “Scatter” crooner further added that he has met a lot of people and experienced life more and all these have changed the trajectory of his life.
He further lets his fans know that he can make an album like LTG again as he disclosed that he is now a 27-year-old millionaire.
Fireboy said; “How do you expect a 27-year-old millionaire who has seen life, experienced life to make another album like LTG, think about it, how?”
