“I want a rematch, this shit was r!gged” – Charles Okocha seeks rematch following boxing match defeat

Nigerian nollywood actor, Charles Okocha, has demanded that his recent boxing match with Nigerian singer, Portable be canceled entirely, alleging suspected rigging and an incompetent referee.

Remember that Charles Okocha was defeated by Portable in a recent match on December 26th. Portable was named the winner by the referee, completing his requirements to win the boxing bout.

Charles Okocha filed a complaint against the referee and the fight organizers shortly after the results were announced, stating that Portable removed his boxing gloves during the third round, which should have resulted in automatic disqualification.

In a post on his social media page, he said, “How can you give up in the 3rd round when we have 4 rounds? How do you take off your gloves in the third round, leading to total disqualification when the fight hasn’t ended?”

“Y’all know this was rigged, with an incompetent referee who knows nothing about boxing rules. Nevertheless, we move on. Rematch coming soon.”
