“I doesn’t really care about Awards” – Nigerians dig out old tweet and video of Wizkid about awards (WATCH)

Following the double Grammy loss, Nigerians have dug out an old tweet and video of Wizkid where he stated that he doesn’t care about awards.

According to Wizkid, he sees it as a bunch of ‘peeps’ putting together a show. The singer added that he doesn’t post about nominations or talk about it because he doesn’t care.

He tweeted: “I don’t post about nominations or talk about awards cos I don’t really care to be honest. Just a bunch of peeps putting together a show!”.

Also in a throwback video of Big Wiz interview with British supermodel, Naomi Campbell, he stated that he does not care about awards.

This comes after the Starboy lost two Grammy Award nominations, both for his song, “Essence” and “Made In Lagos album”.

Reacting to this, Twitter user Kamal_Z said, “Machala has spoken. He doesn’t care so y’all f*ck yourselves”.

Ayomide_Tammy wrote, “Wizkid forever on his lane”.
