Popular Nollywood actress Ronke Oshodi Oke in a recent statement disclosed that she regrets working for the party, All Progressive Congress (APC).
The thespian makes the shocking revelation while featuring as a guest on the show “With Chude” hosted by media personality, Chude Jideonwo.
Ronke Oshodi Oke during the interview expressed her deep remorse for working with APC noting that they shattered her aspiration of contributing to the country’s development.
She voiced her anguish over the governor of Lagos state’s attempts to conceal the controversial End SARS movement by fabricating lies.
Also, Ronke Oshodi shared her heartfelt sorrow for the individuals who lost their loved ones, and those injured during the EndSARS tragedy, stating her regret for having associated herself with the party.
In her words; “I feel APC was going to take Nigeria to the next level’ that’s how I felt. Even while we were campaigning for them; I didn’t collect much, I am not looking at the money.”
On the issue of EndSARS, she accused the governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of lying three times consecutively.
“When that ENDSARs came up, I was soo down. Our governor was saying three things at the same time; lying simultaneously, does that make sense,” she stated.
