Nigerian music artist Akinbiyi Abiola Ahmed, well known as Bella Shmurda, stirred mixed reactions following his unexpected reaction to a picture frame gift of his late friend Mohbad.
A recent video circulating online captured the Cash App crooner amidst a sizable crowd, holding the spotlight on an elevated stage during a live performance.
During the event, a devoted fan crafted a picture frame showing the late singer Mohbad and Bella, presented it to the Cash app Crooner in the midst of the crowd.
Bella Shmurda invited the fan onto the stage, where he examined the presented picture frame. Addressing the crowd through the microphone, the music star declared that he would not be accepting the gift.
The Singer expressed gratitude for life and offered a prayer for Mohbad’s peace before saying that the artist who brought the picture frame would also be the person to take it back because he couldn’t put the image in his house.
However, he assured the fan of a generous reward for the thoughtful gesture.
In Yoruba he said: “You that brought this picture will be the same person to take it back because I can’t put this in my house, but I will give you money.”
