A clip online shows the heartbreaking moment Kairo Owethu Forbes, the daughter of late South African rapper AKA, was captured sobbing at her his memorial service.
You may remember that the musician whose real name was Kiernan Forbes was shot dead on the 10th of February 2023, while on a night out with some friends outside a restaurant in Durban.
On the 17th, a memorial service was held at Sandton Convention Centre in Johannesburg, South Africa for the late rapper.
It was a funeral atmosphere at the memorial service as family and friends were all seen wearing black clothing.
His daughter, Kairo who couldn’t hold back her tears, let them flow steadily down her cheeks as she was comforted by family members who sat on either side of her.
Recall that the South African rapper was shot dead in a drive-by shooting on Florida Road on February 10, 2023. Footage of the moment he got shot was also made available to the public, which stirred shock among netizens.
