Popular Nigerian singer Habeeb Okikiola better known as Portable recently rants after US-based artistes who assaulted him weeks ago went ahead to promote the music video.
The US-baed artistes identified as Esquare promoted the music video of the song with Portable under a popular blog and this didn’t go down well with the singer.
Recall that in January 2024, GbExtra Blog reported that Portable receives beaten of his life in Lekki as abroad-based singers request for refund.
According to Portable in the video, the abroad based singer reached out to him via his manager seeking for music collaboration.
The singer said that he was given N2.5M for a music video shoot and recently they invited him to their house for the video. He added that he sought additional money as per changes in his charges in the new year and was given N2M.
Portable said after shooting the music video in Lekki, the two abroad-based singers together with their team totalling to 40 in numbers raged at him and request for refund.
He was seen with swollen eye while adding that they guys almost left hin nak@d if not for his manager who came in with police officers.
Weeks after that, the US based artistes promoted the song music video on Linda Ikeji blog (LIB), February 23rd stating that the song will be released February 25th
The promotion of the music video did not went down well with Portable who blasted the artistes and the blog Linda Ikeji.
Portable wrote; “@lindaikejiblogofficial he no go better for you too when you don post my music before no be bad about me you dey post.”
“He no go better for you people and who post am evil people una think say una fit use me blow 😂 Awon Aparo from America.”
“Them be g@y. Them do me bad still won promote the video. Oloriburuku @lindaikejiblogofficial why you no tage me make I spoil your mama face.
“If them drop am we go comot am. Na all this bloggers dey spoil naija. Fear my return. After we shoot finish them won enter me Na God save me.”
“One day me and this guys go see again. Make them no drop the music. Them collet my phone.”
