Zeez A interview with GbExtra. Talented singer, Adeyemi Adeniyi Azeez popularly known as “Zeez A” in a recent interview with Nigeria’s Entertainment platform, Gb Extra, talks about his challenges in the music industry and also advised his fellow colleagues not to depend too much on music and have a job to finance their talent.
According to him: “My advice for upcoming artist like me is that let’s not give up in music and work harder, at the same times don’t too depend on music find a job or any source of income for urself so why u can promote urself don’t be lazy because there’s no food for a lazy man, be strong, be passionate the sky is our limit”.
The Lagos born act, Zeez A Boy who recently released a brand new impressive single “Aramide” also talks about the inspiration behind it and what inspired him to do music.

Tell us about yourself:
My name is ADEYEMI ADENIYI AZEEZ professionally known as ZEEZ A BOY, am from LAGOS STATE, Was born on November 15, I finished my secondary school at Kind Ado Senior High School, am so jovial and love music ALOT.
What inspired you to do music?
Because everytime I listen to music it gives me joy anytime am feeling lonely, depressed or angry and I listen to music I feel good and relieved so then I thought to go for it once I got the talent.
When did you debut your first single and what inspired it?
I debut my first single “Love Vibes” in the year 2019. The song was being sing out of feelings and emotions because a girl once said to me that her love is so scarce so she’s my muse girl.
As an Up and Coming artiste, what has been your challenges in the music industry so far?
ALOT of challenges have gone through in music that my mouth can’t even tell, the day I won’t have money to eat but will be thinking and running around to do music in the studio. Alot of show I will go and be begging for a minute just to freestyle, bloggers self go collect money and many people promise but they gat Nothing to offer no one to help.
So what is your achievements so far in the music industry?
Haven’t reach the stage I want so I can’t say have achieved ALOT in music so why I won’t stay relent until my dream comes to real.
You recently released a new song “Aramide” which is still receiving mainstream. Who is “Aramide” to you and inspired the song “Aramide”?
Yeah I do released a new song titled “Aramide”. Aramide is someone I know as a friend and once had a feelings for because I fell in love with that name so much ARAMIDE. And I thought of composing a romantic song with that sweet name so why the song was inspired by a friend of mine Aramide.
Who is your mentor in the music industry and why?
I learned from many different superstar as my mentor cos am a multi talented artist so I wanna be a legend of my time.
Where do you see yourself in the next five years as an artist??
Five years Keh, in the next one year I will be at the top by God grace i will be in my own mansion and under a big record label owns by me.
Any advice for up and coming artistes like you??
