Davido reacts to video of Fireboy shedding tears after performing with Ed Sheeran at Wembley stadium

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar, David Adeleke popularly known as Davido, has penned encouraging words to Fireboy DML after his emotional outburst following his performance at Wembley Stadium.

Fireboy made history by becoming the first Nigerian singer to perform at the Wembley Stadium on 29th of June. The YBNL music act performed at the 90,000 alongside British singer, Ed Sheeran.

After entertaining fans, the ‘Playboy’ singer broke down in tears while walking backstage and it was captured on camera.

Speaking in reaction to the clip, Davido took to his Instagram story and said that the historic moment was a beautiful sight to behold.

He wrote; “God punish who ever say God no dey… This is just beautiful to see.”

This comes just days after Fireboy DML was celebrated on internet following a historic performance at the 2022 BET Awards in Los Angeles.

The YBNL singer performed two of his hit songs on the main stage at the ceremony and becomes the first ever Afrobeats artiste to achieve the feat.
