The former Big Brother Naija star took to the microblogging platform X to share a photo of himself with a caption that appeared to indirectly reference someone.

In his caption, he mentioned that this person promotes women supporting each other until it involves supporting another woman. He included a suggestive hashtag, describing the person as a ‘crocodile.’

This post comes after Mercy Eke’s emotional interview with media personality Hero Daniels, in which she expressed her frustration at having only her fans as her primary source of support during her time in the Big Brother house.

Mercy also broke down in tears as she mentioned her desire for ‘more,’ alluding to her aspiration to win the All Stars season but ending up as the first runner-up.

Less than 24 hours after the interview video was shared online, Ike shared the tweet, leading many to speculate that he was indirectly criticizing Mercy and characterizing her tears as ‘crocodile tears.’

They also asserted that he was throwing shades at Mercy for not fully supporting Ilebaye’s emergence as the winner of the show, despite wanting to be supported herself.

He tweeted: “Women supporting women, until it’s another woman turn. #crocodile #Queenmaker #Godfather”
