Nigerian chef from Ekiti state, Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy has a reason to smile again as she receives N1 million from a businessman.
This comes following after the rich businessman promised to give chef Dammy whooping sum of N1 million after watching a viral video of the chef buying roasted corn by the roadside.
In the trending clip shared on Instagram, the chef was spotted standing quietly by the roadside as she waited for her turn.
While many criticized the celebrity chef, the kind businessman identified as Fekomi was moved with sympathy to assist her with N1 million.
Although some netizens thought the businessman was only chasing clout, he has proved naysayers wrong with photos of the chef holding a cheque of N1 million.
While sharing the photos, he advised netizens to stop criticising the young lady as she made an attempt to break a record and should only be motivated.
In his words, “We all need motivation after chastising and reprimanding congratulations chef dammy at least she made an attempt.”
