Burnaboy breaks silence after Davido calls him a “New Cat”


Award-Winning Nigerian singer Damini Ebunoluwa Ogulu popularly known as Burnaboy breaks silence after his colleague Davido calls him a “New Cat” in the music industry.

Recall GbExtra Blog reported that Davido during a statement claimed that Burna Boy who is a Grammy Award winner is a new cat and belongs to the level of Asake, Mayorkun, Rema, Fireboy among others.

Davido added that he and Wizkid blew the Afrobeats to attain global recognition and his happy that the new cats are killing it.

This comment stirred mixed reactions on social media. While some disagreed with his comment, others have also applauded Davido for his comments with proof that Burna Boy is new in the music space.

Few hours ago, Burnaboy the “Last Last” hitmaker broke his silence with a new post on his Instagram page.

Burna Boy shared photos from his successful show at the London stadium as he celebrated being able to fill up the 80,000 capacity venue.

According to Burna, his dream has always been to unite people from all walks of life, and London made it possible.

Burnaboy wrote; “Uniting people from all walks of life has always been my dream. “London, thank you for making it possible for me at my biggest show to date! Shout out to my family @theuglygram @santandave @popcaanmusic and Stormzy. We’re Leaving An Impact For Eternity. “Love, Damini.”
