#BBNaija: Why my relationship with Chizzy failed – Doyin (VIDEO)

Big Brother Naija All Stars Housemate, Doyin Esmeralda David has openly disclosed the reasons behind her decision to discontinue her relationship with co-reality star, Chizzy.

Recall, amidst the electrifying aura of the 2022 Season 7 ‘Level Up’ edition, Doyin and Chizzy kindled an enchanting bond with their passionate connection while in the Big Brother Naija house.

Following the show’s conclusion, Doyin, during a post-show interview in 2022, candidly shared her musings on the likelihood of embarking on a romantic journey with Chizzy.

But during a recent conversation with her fellow housemates, Cross and Ilebaye, on the ongoing BBNaija All-Stars show, Doyin said she and Chizzy had their differences in handling conflicts.

In a revelatory confession, Doyin divulged that she prefers her men to exude an aura of subtlety and calm, expressing her reservations about Chizzy’s loudness, which she found to be too boisterous for her liking.

Doyin said that Chizzy really liked her a lot, but their relationship couldn’t work because she wanted him to change and be a different person. This difference in what they wanted from each other ultimately led to their breakup.

Her words; “I don’t like my men loud, he was too loud, I like them mysterious, it was too much for me and I couldn’t do it.

He told me that he liked me so much but it couldn’t work because I want him to be a different man and he was right”.

She also said they had distinct life orientations but are still friends.

“We had different conflict resolution patterns. His pattern was not going to work for me,” she said.

“If we fight… when I want us to settle we have to settle. But he wants to take his time, you know he does not want to speak out of anger.

“Also his orientation, the way he saw life was different from the way I saw life. Everything was just different. We were just so very different, it could not have worked but we are great friends till now.”

In other news, Big Brother Naija star Hermes Chibueze Iyele, popularly known as Hermes, recently escaped an automobile accident.

He revealed the sad news on his Instagram account with photographs of his black Mercedes, crush in the unfortunate incident .

The reality star thanked God for showing up for him once more, although many are yet to know his physical state.
