The Federal Govt says the payment platform, UTAS, which was proposed by ASUU has failed the integrity test and cannot be adopted.

ASUU has been putting pressure for its own platform, the Universities Transparency Accountability Solution (UTAS) to be approved for paying lecturers instead of the old method which is the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

It is one of the reasons why the Union embarked on strike. A second test on UTAS is to be carried out this month,” the union revealed on Twitter some days ago.
