In a recent interview with popular media personality, Chude Jideonwo, the winner of Big Brother Naija ‘Level Up,’ Phyna, sparked a heated debate by boldly asserting that there is hardly any woman on Earth who hasn’t had an ab0rtion.
Her admission about her own experience with abortion as a young woman sent shockwaves through social media and ignited a passionate discourse.
During the interview, Phyna defended her stance by explaining that, aside from virgins, almost all s#xually active women have committed abortion in one form or another.
She cited the consumption of emergency contraceptives such as Postinor or Becharm Ampilox, combined with warm water, as actions that, in her view, amounted to abortion.
Phyna’s comments have since drawn mixed reactions from the public, with the majority criticizing her statements.
The controversial statement by the reality TV star has led to intense online discussions and debates, with many condemning her for making what they consider to be sweeping and insensitive generalizations about women.
Phyna, however, remains steadfast in her opinion and has taken to social media to defend her statement.
In response to the backlash, she labeled her critics as hypocrites and urged them to stop complaining.
She argued that any woman who has used emergency contraceptives to prevent an unwanted pregnancy has, in her eyes, committed ab0rtion.
In her words; “Only virgins are safe hypocrites. As long as you are having s#x as a woman, if you drink Postinor, that’s abortion. If you drink Becharm Ampilox and warm water, that’s abortion. Keep crying for all I care.”
