Adeyeye Adeola: “16 hours gone” – Another Nigerian chef Deo begins 150-hour cook-a-thon, eyes Hilda Baci’s title (Video)

A Nigerian chef, Adeyeye Adeola (aka Chef Deo) has joined the race to displace Hilda Baci and set a new Guinness World Record for the longest cooking marathon (individual).

The Ondo-based lady, Adeola’s cook-a-thon began on Friday, June 30, 2023, and is scheduled to conclude on Thursday, July 6, 2023. Nigerians have been streaming her live video session to see how far she can go.

Hilda Baci who only recently got her plaque from the Guinness World Record had earlier been challenged by another chef, Adeparusi Damilola who cooked for 120 hours, although she didn’t notify the record body before embarking on the journey.

Despite the controversy trailing her mission, the Ondo State chef remains determined to break the record, as she claims to have been preparing intensely for the cook-a-thon.
