“001 till forever” – Davido’s emotional speech at Mohbad’s candle light procession & tribute stirs reactions (Video)

Nigerian award-winning artiste, Davido, has given a heartfelt oration at late singer Mohbad’s candlelight procession and tribute.

The candlelight procession and tribute for the 27-year-old musician took place in Lagos on Thursday, September, 21. It started at 5PM at Lekki Phase 1 Gate and end Muri Okunola Park, Victoria Island.

Celebrities and fans troop in large numbers in order to give befitting memorial for Mohbad.

Davido, among other celebrities that graced the event, expressed his sorrow over the sudden passing of the ‘Peace’ crooner. He called upon all entertainers, influencers and business people to ensure that Mohbad’s son and his family are taken good care of.

In his words, “I’ve personally lost a lot of people in my live, so I know much about life Apart from justice being done, I call on all entertainers, all influencers and business people in Nigeria to come together and make sure that his child, wife and his parents are taken care of.”

“RIP Mohbad, I’m so so sad that you are not here to see the support everyone is giving you. The whole world is listening to your songs. We are going to keep your name alive and take care of your people.”

He emphasized that the candlelight procession was intended to be peaceful. Davido also encouraged attendees to return home safely and without incident.
