Grammy-Award winning Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi better known as Tems has stirs mixed reactions online following a recent revelation about herself.
Taking to her verified page on the popular microblogging platform X formerly called Twitter, Tems disclosed that she used to do 9-5 job in Lagos Nigeria before she breaks into prominence as an artiste.
It all started after an X user identified as @chinesegon threw out a mockery tweet at those who quit their 9-5 job to find their passion.
The X user wrote; “people that have quit their jobs to find themselves. what have you found.’
Upon sighting the post, Tems quoted the post and responded by sharing photos of herself and fellow colleague at the office.
According to Tems while using herself as a testimony, leaving 9-5 job to discover someone passion will work if someone puts their trust in God wholeheartedly.
Tems wrote; “It only works if you trust God wholeheartedly. #BORNINTHEWILD🌍✨.”
The pictures shared by Tems shows that she is working at an international company called JMG Limited based in Lagos, Nigeria and it was in 2017.
Recall that Tems broke into the Nigerian music scene following the release of her hit song dubbed “Try Me” in the year 2018.
