Popular Nigerian singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage has received an honorary doctorate degree from her Alma mater, Kent University.
The songstress was conferred the degree, for her outstanding performance as well as for being an inspiration in the music industry.
Dr Savage, as she would now be refered, had bagged a bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University some years prior, later winning a scholarship to study Professional Music at Berklee college of music, Boston.
Tiwa Savage was seen clad in her doctoral gown while being flanked by family members as they stood to take pictures.
